Your first visit? Welcome! Links to info about the course are on top margin. Occasional articles are posted on the right.

The most recent course was held in London, 6 & 7 February.

The online 8 week course is available to all, at www.theonlinecompassioncourse.com.

Aim of this course : to explore ground-breaking strategies which help us experience more compassion.

The weekend is all about

the ‘how to’s’  - not ‘why’s and where-for’s’

‘structure’ - not ‘content’

‘usefulness’ - not ‘good/bad’

You’ll find it a fascinating,  safe, & enjoyable experience!

  • First held in June 2009, in Milton Keynes – the venue now is Regents College Conference Centre in London.
  • Other dates & venues outside London will soon be announced.
  • No prior training is required before attending.
  • Open to all.
  • Professional & personal benefits.

Professional coach and trainer, Phil Reed encourages curiosity around the subjective internal structures we all use to block, experience, and extend our innate compassion – at home and in our work.

Be inspired!

The unique content is influenced by neuro-linguistic programming; evolutionary psychology; solution-focussed brief therapy; self enquiry; emergent self knowledge; and the principles of Attitudinal Healing. No previous knowledge is assumed.

Summary of areas covered:

(through discussion, demonstration, group and pair exercises).

  • The art and science of compassion
  • Where compassion comes from. What we do when we can’t find it
  • How to avoid compassion fatigue
  • What prevents compassionate relationships and what to do about it
  • How our brains help and hinder us
  • How to feel less anxious, worried, fragmented
  • The attitudes that contribute to, build, and support compassion and what to do when judgement, criticism, blame, guilt, shame, and attack thoughts take over

You will leave with a whole bunch of the latest tried and tested attitudes and techniques – to use immediately in y0ur personal and professional lives.
